CHRISTINA RICCI

Christina Ricci (born February 12, 1980) is an Emmy Award-nominated American actress who first achieved fame for her role as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family (1991) and its sequel Addams Family Values (1993). Her movie roles have ranged from art house films such as The Ice Storm (1997), dramas such as Monster (2004), independent comedies such as The Opposite of Sex (1998), for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress, and blockbusters such as Sleepy Hollow (1999).

Ricci endured the transition from a child star to teenage idol and adult actress and currently holds her own production company, Blaspheme Films, responsible for Pumpkin and Prozac Nation. She has recently appeared in Black Snake Moan (2007) and Penelope (2008), and stars as Trixie, the female lead role in the The Wachowski Brothers' feature film adaptation of Speed Racer, in 2008.

Christina Ricci talks about her lion tattoo: "It's Aslan, the lion from The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe. It's a symbol of my hellish childhood. I struggled through my oppressive teenage years and when I turned 18 I escaped. Like Aslan I was finally free." On her back she has a bouquet of sweet peas was tattooed by Thomas Lockhart at his West Coast Tattoo shop, Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC, Canada. Christina is just one of many celebs Thomas has inked over the years.

Christina Ricci has confessed her love for tattoos, but knows that being an actress in Hollywood you have to be careful where you get your tattoos. As of right now all her tattoos are in places that can be covered up fairly easily. Because a lot of time producers in movies do not like their actress's to be covered in tattoos, because it is a pain to have to cover them up with make up if their clothes do not cover them up. However, Christina is hoping that she will become super famous one day so she can get a tattoo on her arm. - infinitietattoos.com

"I can't wait until I'm super-famous. I'm at the point when I should really hide them, because directors don't like them. When I'm really, really super famous, I'm going to get one on my arm - because nobody cares then." Ricci's remaining tattoos consist of a Fairy on the inside of her right wrist, praying hands on her left hip, which used to be a bat. The words "Move or Bleed" on her left side. The name Jack on her right thigh as a memorial to a dead pet. A blue sparrow on her right breast and a mermaid on her left ankle.
