#70 - Ja Rule (Rapper, February 29th, 1976)Jeffrey Atkins, better known to fans as Ja Rule, is a rapper from NYC who came up in the music industry with fellow rhyming prodigies Jay-Z and DMX. Ja Rule has one of the smoooothest speaking voices we have ever heard. We could just sit there, close our eyes and listen to the sweet sound of his voice all day. Ahhh. He could tell us about his day, talk about the weather, read us a bedtime story. We'll just sit there and listen attentively. Don't believe me? Go to YouTube right now and find out for yourself. Ja Rule has many tattoos, including a large religious themed back piece, with crucifixes, wings, light rays and fire. His left pectoral muscle is decorated with the script: Pain In Love. Aww, did some hurt you Ja Rule? Let us mend your broken heart? >> pictures |
#69 - José Mangin (MTV Host, Birthdate Not Known)Heavy metal Mexi-merican, José Mangin is a DJ on Sirius XM and is now a host on MTV's Headbanger's Ball. We're going to go out on a limb here and say that most metal aficionados are not know for their fashion sense... chain wallets, goatees, army shorts and over-sized band t-shirts don't really do much for us. However! We are happy to report that José is a hard rocker with a polished sense of style and a spicy lookin' mohawk to boot. Mangin's first tattoo was the Pantera's Cowboys From Hell logo at the age of 16 and he's been getting tattooed steadily ever since. Jose's arms are sleeved in Aztec themed work, which pays tribute to his Central American heritage. Paul Booth, who is responsible for much of the ink you see on metal musicians today, has also tattooed him. >> pictures |

#68 - Dave Navarro (Musician, Jane’s Addiction, June 7th, 1967)The antithesis of shy, Dave Navarro, has made a public personality out of his hyper-sexual energy. As the reigning king of nipple piercings and topless public appearances, it seems that Navarro may not actually own any clothing for the upper half of his body. Not that we’re complaining. Navarro is best known as the former guitarist for The Red Hot Chili Peppers and current axe-man for Jane’s Addiction. His unique, androgynous tinged beauty is often highlighted with sin-soaked eye makeup and serpentine body language. We wouldn’t mind meeting him alone in the Garden of Eden! Dave doesn’t seem to be attracted to large sleeve styled tattoos, instead preferring numerous, smaller, meaningful tattoos that share his passion for his family, friends, personal philosophies and creative endeavors. >> pictures |

Diggs starred in Rent, Chicago and Wicked before broadening his acting scope to television. #66 - Jesse Metcalfe (Actor, December 9th, 1978)Please put your hands together for The Shirtless Wonder! *Applause* Jesse Metcalfe, best known for his role as John Rowland in Desperate Housewives, gained attention for his well-toned body when he appeared shirtless in almost every scene he was cast. Metcalfe also appeared as a client on the first season of LA Ink and was tattooed by the lovely and talented Hannah Aitchison. Hannah and Jesse collaborated on a half sleeve design of a winged pinup angel that is lassoing an anatomically correct heart - his heart. On the episode, Jesse explains that this tattoo is a gentle reminder to protect his heart, which was recently wounded over a break up with Girls Aloud singer, Nadine Coyle. Jessie also has a celtic cross on his upper back and a tattoo on his right arm that reads “IX LIVES”. >> pictures |

#65 - Blake Shelton (Musician, June 18th, 1976)Honkey tonkin’ honey, Blake Shelton, is an American country music artist, with over 15 charted singles. Shelton’s possesses that powerful southern charm that attracts cowgirls in tumbleweed towns all over the United States. Blake appreciates the rural lifestyle and often sings about driving on back roads, planting corn and watching deer from his porch. Sounds kind of peaceful doesn’t it? Blake has a barbwire cuff tattoo on his left forearm with deer tracks running down the centre of the two barbwire strands. He’s considered having this tattoo revised because people often misinterpret the symbols. The deer tracks have been confused with ladybugs, bear tracks, coffee beans and rabbit poop! Oops. So far he’s kept the humbling tattoo as is, and says it has a wonderful way of keeping his tattoo ego in check. >> pictures |

#64 - Marc Jacobs (Fashion Designer, April 9th, 1963)Creative Director at design house Louis Vuitton and head designer at his own brand, Marc Jacobs, is high fashion figure with a playful edge. When explaining his designs, Jacobs wants to give the wearer a sense of subtle sexuality; the wearer should feel hedonistic, not look it. Out magazine's ranked Marc 15th on the annual list of "50 Most Powerful Gay Men and Women in America." Marc has a relaxed attitude about tattooing, and feels that he should not over think his ink or deny the himself the pleasure of getting tattooed. Marc has a beautiful, chiseled figure and is the owner of an extremely whimsical selection of tattoos. Sponge Bob Square Pants, The M&M Guys and various other quirky cartoon characters decorate Marc's skin and emphasize his carefree personality. Various sized stars cover his shoulders and the word Shameless is written in script on his chest. About his Shameless tattoo, Jacobs says: "That's what I think everyone should aspire to in life: being shameless." >> pictures |

#63 - Scott Weiland (Musician, October 27th, 1967)Plain and simple, Grammy Awards get you girls. Grammy Award winner, Scott Weiland, of the Stone Temple Pilots (and more recently Velvet Revolver), is finally squeaky clean after years of drug abuse and multiple arrests. Legal trouble aside, Scott is an unforgettable performer who uses props, stage antics and liquid dance moves to get the crowd to their feet. Scott has an Japanese 3/4 sleeve with waves, cherry blossoms, a large dragon, clouds and wind bars. Weiland recently had Mark Mahoney, tattoo a portrait of his ex-wife's on his left forearm. They are now divorced, but says he won't have it removed because she is the mother of his children. >> pictures |

#62 - Robert Downey Jr. (Actor, April 4th, 1965)Robert Downey, Price of Prescriptions. Wait, sorry we take that back. He's clean for now (and hopefully for good), so we can't take too many stabs about his on terrible again off again girlfriend (see: drug use). Jokes aside, Downey really is a gorgeous catch with deep soulful eyes that share his troubled journey through fame. Despite his very public personal problems, he seems to stay focused on what he loves, which is acting. His obvious talents have always been respected and recognized by his peers wich has helped him become one of the most decorated actors of his generation. >> pictures |

#61 - Henry Rollins (Musician, February 13, 1961)Hardcore Hank with a sensitive poetic side, Henry Rollins, is best known for his involvement with the hardcore band, Black Flag, and his solo project, The Rollins Band. Henry was rumoured to be a bit of a ladies man in his younger years, but now (unfortunately) practices monk-like restraint with the fairer sex and stays focused on his career as a musician, author and spoken word performer. Henry has been photographed extensively in his career and has many instantly recognizable tattoos, including a large tribal sun that covers his entire back with the words SEARCH & DESTROY across his shoulders. He also has a large collection of music related tattoos; logos from Black Flag, The Misfits, Einstürzende Neubauten and other seminal punk/noise bands from 80's. >> pictures |
