Chassity Ebony - Alabama Slammer!

It's not difficult to believe that this charming and beautiful southern belle was once a model, but she also waited tables and sold car insurance! "Hey, we all start somewhere," she says.

Apart from being a veritable feast for the eyes, and aside from having that crisp drawl that's music to the ears, Chassity Ebony is not only a tattoo artist, but an Internet talk show host as well! Her talk show can be viewed at www.tattoochat.com every week. This girl is chock full of surprises.

Chassity owns a tattoo studio called L.A. Body Art... the "L.A." stands for "Lower Alabama", not, obviously, Los Angeles, little angels, or lovely ass... although, perhaps that last choice might be apropos. She began in business about six years ago. I'm just guessing that it was while doing her stint in food service that it happened, because when I asked her how she first got into it, she said, "I slipped on a banana peel and ended up in tattooing! I'm loving every minute of it!" I don't know if there are stray banana peels on photo shoots or in car insurance offices... but anything's possible.

True, the whole package is pleasing, but if you take a close look at Chassity's skin, she's got some top-notch ink. Her list of exterior decorators include Shahn Anderson (back and abdomen), Brian Everett (right arm), and Seth Ciferri (left arm) among others. "These guys are inspirations to me," says Chassity. "They're responsible for the beautiful artwork on my canvas."

Chassity's ultimate dream is to be the first person to tattoo in space ("Maybe the moon..."), but for now, when she's not down at L.A Body Art, she can occasionally be found in the Big Apple, tattooing by appointment at Studio Enigma in Brooklyn. We here at Tabu have faith it won't be long until she's donning her space suit and inking throughout the galaxy... that is, if technology can keep up with her!
