Vanishing Tattoo is proud to showcase the following photographers from around the world and their fascinating and varied interpretations and visions of tattoos and tattoo culture. Each photographer brings with them a unique perspective; in many cases the focus is on the model, in others the tattoo.
In settings both ordinary and extraordinary, where the result can be a celebration of the eroticism of body art, or the unexpected, even jarring juxtaposition of the sacred and the profane and often times the mundane, where in a world where a cigar is just a cigar, sometimes a tattoo is just a tattoo... And sometimes a tattoo is a personal symbol that borders on the profound.
