Megan Joy (born September 18, 1985 as Megan Joy Knudsen), formerly known as Megan Joy Corkrey, is an American singer from Sandy, Utah, who came in ninth place on the eighth season of American Idol. She has stated that she is musically inspired by, among others, Björk after listening to her when she was 16.

Joy, who is a graduate of Taylorsville High School in Taylorsville, Utah, appeared in the auditions phase as Megan Corkrey and then added her middle name Joy during the semi-finals. After the Wildcard episode, she dropped her last name, stating it was her ex-husband's and that she wanted to be known as Megan Joy from there on out. She has a son named Ryder.

I got all of my tattoos by Jared Hayes at Apparition Ink in Salt Lake City. My newest tattoo is from a couple of months ago. It says, "It's in my hands. It always was." It's across my pinky to the bottom of my palm. It means you can do whatever you want to do, and it's up to you. I'll get my ribs done and then I'm going to stop for my mom. I'm going to get a tree house with my best friend on one side and then "Fly Lightly" and a bird. And my arm needs more coloring.
