Best known for his quirky roles and off-beat charisma, Depp has a way of bringing charming humanity to difficult characters on-screen. Director Tim Burton and Depp have collaborated on a number of curiously spooky films together, including Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd and Alice in Wonderland. This gives the term “drop dead gorgeous” a whole nouveau Gothic meaning! Depp’s personal style is the epitome of cool. He embodies all the traits of a beautiful bohemian free spirit; exotic good looks, a creative soul, and emotional maturity. He is also one of the very few, high profile stars that does not consciously seek the spotlight. His reserved lifestyle creates an enigmatic persona that only increases the mystique and desire surrounding him. Depp currently has fourteen tattoos, including the head of a Cherokee indian chief which references his ancestral heritage, the name of his first born, Lily-Rose inscribed on his chest, and his mother’s name Betty Sue on his left arm. For his son Jack, Johnny wears a sparrow flying over open water. Jack’s name is worn in script underneath. Johnny also has a famous tattoo removal story. His banner tattoo, “Wino Forever”, was a tattoo formally known as “Winona Forever”. He had the tattooed altered after his relationship with Winona Ryder ended.
