#8 - Lenny Kravitz (Musician, May 26th, 1964)

Church is now in session! It is time to pay our respects to the Altar of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Lenny Kravitz, the immensely popular singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist, has turned rock music into a religious experience. A hedonistic love god for the ladies and a guitar hero for the boys, Lenny entertains the rock idol persona with perfect pitch. Kravitz has also dabbled in acting, most off-Broadway productions and the yet to be released film “Precious” which won three awards at the Sundance Film Festival in 2009. Music remains the centre of Lenny’s career, and he is currently booked to play 53 dates on the Let Love Rule 2009 Tour. He also plans to contribute vocals to Slash’s first solo album to be released this summer. Lenny has a Japanese black and grey dragon tattoo on his chest that flows over his left shoulder and upper arm. The dragon is complimented by elements of wind, water, and waves which helps place the dragon in a mystical environment right on the skin. Lenny’s other tattoos include a colourful floral design on his left forearm and a cross on his right bicep. >> pictures
