#50 - Georges St. Pierre (MMA, UFC Champ, May 19th, 1981)

Hot-blooded knockout Georges St. Pierre also known as GSP is a French-Canadian mixed martial artist and current Welterweight champion of the UFC. Georges took up martial arts at a young age to protect himself from a high school bully who used to steal his clothes and money. Poor Georges! This muscle bound champion has come a long way from those days and is now sponsored by Gatorade. Do you think he sweats different colours like the commercials? Georges has a kanji tattoo on his chest that shows the duality of his ring personality and the softer side he shows his confidantes. He also has a Fleur de Lis on his leg, which represents his French-Canadian heritage. >> pictures

#49 - Billie Joe Armstrong (Musician, February 17th, 1972)

Punk rock family man, Billy Joe Armstrong of the band Green Day, has had a very fortunate run with stardom. Initially thought to be a flash in the pan, Green Day is still making headlines today with their energetic riffs and punk rock attitudes. Green Day was one of the first widely successful commercial punk rock bands in the 90’s, and they took a lot of flack from their peers for “selling out”. Sounds like a bunch of jealous lovers to us! Stars are a reoccurring motif in Billie Joe's tattoos, along with many loving tributes to his wife, children and the punk rock ethos. It looks like he and his wife Adrienne are a match made in heaven, but hey, we ladies can dream, right? >> pictures

#48 - Nathan Followill (Musician, Kings of Leon, June 26th, 1979)

Nathan Followill, drummer of the band of actual brothers, Kings of Leon, is a handsome homegrown southern boy who found salvation playing music with his brothers in his Father’s church. All that musical missionary work paid of well when the Kings of Leon were recently awarded with their first Grammy in 2008. Followill’s polished preacherman-meets-rocker fashion flavour is balanced by a growing collection of American traditional tattoo work. Nathan’s chest is currently decorated with a Native American dream-catcher and the name of his mother, Betty Ann over his heart. Other pieces include an anchor on either bicep, a Native American with ceremonial headdress on his right forearm, and a cowgirl on this left forearm. >> pictures

#47 - Ed Westwick (Actor, Musician, June 27th, 1987)

The Filthy Youth’s fine young dandy Ed Westwick is an British indie rocker and actor from London. You may remember Ed from the American TV series, Gossip Girl, where he lends his acting duties to the role of Chuck Bass, a flamboyant boy about town, who has a pet monkey and penchant for scarves. Ed currently has a few tattoos that we know of, one that reads ”21 grams” on his upper left arm and “Love Me Two Times” which signifies his appreciation for The Doors. Another tattoo over his heart reads “Heartbreak Hotel”, which could symbolize a lonesome heart OR his undying love for Elvis. We’ve got our money on Elvis. Long live The King! >> pictures

#46 - Nikki Sixx (Musician, Motley Crue, December 11th, 1958)

Nikki Sixx, who is well known for his bass guitar duties with Motley Crue, is heavily tattooed but also the current sweetheart of tv's tattoo darling, Kat Von D. He's probably dating her for the free ink sessions, right? Ok probably not, these two are completely enamored with one another to the dismay of Motley Crue admirers everywhere. If you've read "Motley Crue's - The Dirt", you've heard about Nikki's wild and womanizing ways, but according to Nikki, those days are now past. Nikki might be settling down, but we'll continue to admire him from afar. Nikki's tattoos borrow inspiration from Asian and American influenced trends: Japanese sleeves and chest plates, tribal, script, and a portrait of band mate Mick Mars (inked by Kat Von D on her show, LA Ink). >> pictures

#45 - Ville Valo (Musician, HIM, November 22, 1976)

Ville Valo, goth rock’s prince charming is the frontman of the Finnish rock band HIM. Ville is closely connected to the Jackass Boys, and shares a similar truth or dare lifestyle of boozin’, touring and general trouble making. Ville’s entire left arm is covered in thorny filigree, which is part of HIM’s visual language. Various HIM logos/symbols are also tattooed on Ville, including the iconic HIM “heart-a-gram” which can be viewed on the album “Love Metal”, released in 2003. Valo also has an interesting collection of portraits which include Charles Bukowski, Charles Baudelaire and Timo Mukka. Celebrity tattooer, Kat Von D, completed most of his tattoo work. >> pictures

#44 - Brian Austin Green (Actor, July 15th, 1973)

Best known for his role as David Silver on the decade long running series Beverly Hills, 90210, Brian Austin Green was a young adult heartthrob, whose portraits papered the bedrooms of swooning young girls all over North America. In 1996 Brian even tried his hand at a hip hop career! But let’s not re-open old wounds, we might make him blush with embarrassment. Brian is currently popular in the tabloids for his on again off again relationship with Hollywood's favourite siren, Megan Fox. The couple shares an avid interest in tattooing; Green has an Aztec thunderbird on his right shoulder, a cross and JOHN 3:16 on his left shoulder and a large dragon on his right forearm. He also paid tribute to the birth of his son, by having his name “Kassius” tattooed on his left forearm in old English script. >> pictures

#43 - Rob Devita (Model, Birthdate Unknown)

New kid on the block, Rob Devita, is a relatively new fashion model with a career that is gaining speed like a runaway freight train. Hey Rob, how about you pick us up on the way to the top? Devita’s body is incredibly fit; it could be due to a combination of diet and exercise, but we think it’s more about witchcraft and sorcery. Clearly that’s the only explanation for someone so perfectly proportioned. Rob is an edgy, rugged beauty and his chiseled facial features resemble historical heartthrobs James Dean, Paul Newman and Marlon Brando. Devita’s tattoos run the gamut from dragons, to flames, various tribal pieces, stars, a cross with a banner tribute to his Grandpa and several kanji symbols. #42 - Maxwell (Musician, May 23rd, 1973)

Cue up some Sade, light some candles, fluff up the pillows and turn down the sheets, we’re about to get you in the mood for the sweet and soulful R&B singer, Maxwell. At age 17 Maxwell had an intense drive for making and writing music. By age 21, he had established a major label-recording contract with Columbia Records. His sound is heavily influenced by silky sounds of classic soul music which has earned him not one, but four Grammy Award nominations. Maxwell’s tattoos are a little difficult to spot. We were so busy staring at his awe-inspiring figure and heart melting smile that we got a bit sidetracked... However! Upon further inspection and careful evaluation (we LOVE this job), we discovered that Maxwell has a large Celtic shield on his upper, right arm. >> pictures

#41 - Perry Farrell (Musician, Jane’s Addiction, March 29th, 1959)

Mr. Mystical Perry Farrell, long admired for his involvement in the pivotal alternative rock band, Jane’s Addiction (and the co-founder of the visionary rock festival, Lollapolooza), is probably trying to mesmerize your girlfriend. Or maybe your boyfriend. Perry’s lifestyle has always been a melting pot of surf-glam-hippie ideals and his desire for a passionate companion did not sexually discriminate. You may not know this, but ‘Perry Farrell’ is pseudonym and a play on the word ‘peripheral’. Yes, good ol’ Perry is a little “out there”, but we appreciate his seductive space cadet ways, his unique style, his slippery dance moves. Perry is an avid surfer and is often seen at premier surfing destinations around the world. Choose your beaches wisely and you might just get a glimpse of his ink in the flesh! He has a single tattoo, a praying mantis on his right shoulder. >> pictures
