#40-#31

#40 - Nathan Followill (Musician, Kings of Leon, June 26th, 1979)

Nathan FollowillNathan Followill, drummer of the band of actual brothers, Kings of Leon, is a handsome homegrown southern boy who found salvation playing music with his brothers in his Father’s church. All that musical missionary work paid of well when the Kings of Leon were recently awarded with their first Grammy in 2008. Followill’s polished preacherman-meets-rocker fashion flavour is balanced by a growing collection of American traditional tattoo work. Nathan’s chest is currently decorated with a Native American dream-catcher and the name of his mother, Betty Ann over his heart. Other pieces include an anchor on either bicep, a Native American with ceremonial headdress on his right forearm, and a cowgirl on this left forearm. >> pictures

#39 - Christian Vieri (Soccer Player, July 12th, 1973)

Christian VieriIt’s common knowledge to boys and girl everywhere - If you play international football, you have a license to be gorgeous. Italian football striker Christian Vieri is a prime specimen of this well-developed ‘scientific’ theory. We have concrete beautiful evidence! Christian comes from a family of footballers, his father played for Sydney and his brother played on the Aussie International Team in 2004. When they moved back to Italy, Christian began his star-studded football career, and has played several World Cup games under Italy’s International club. The great Pele recently named him one of the 125 Great Living Footballers. Christian has several tattoos, a star/sun symbol, an arrow, and various kanji symbols on his right arm. His Kanji symbols display the following meaning: persistence, thunder, family, mind, and harmony. >> pictures

#38 - Devendra Banhart (Musician, May 13th, 1981)

Carey HartIf nomadic, trippy-hippie types are more your cup of herbal tea, you’ll be picking flowers for Devendra “Obi” Banhart, an American singer-songwriter and visual artist. Yep, his middle name is a bonafide Star Wars reference given by his parents; it’s on his birth certificate. Devendra’s look channels gypsy lore: the barefooted lifestyle, hooped earrings, feathered headwear and jewelry. We’re pretty sure that Devendra has the best hobo-hipster beard in show business. Banhart’s numerous tattoos are applied symmetrically and inspired by esoteric symbols, which give his ink a mystical and enigmatic feel. >> pictures

#37 - Ewan McGregor (Actor, March 31st, 1971)

Ewan McGregorThe strong, silent Scotsman, known as Ewan McGregor is a charming recluse with a sweet smile and an unmistakable presence in mainstream, indie and art house films. McGregor is one of the few major male actors to repeatedly agree to roles that require full frontal nudity. If you require conclusive evidence, we suggest renting Trainspotting, Velvet Goldmine and The Pillow Book IMMEDIATELY! McGregor adores and protects his family from the public eye and has a single tattoo that pays tribute to the people closest to his heart. On his right arm is a heart and dagger with his wife and daughter’s names: Eve, Ester and Clara. >> pictures

#36 - Russell Brand (Comedian, Actor, June 4th, 1975)

Russell BrandRussell Brand is an English comedian and actor best known in North America as Aldus Snow in the romantic comedy, Forgetting Sarah Marshall. This guy’s got it all, he’s a former heroin and sex addict... recovering alcoholic... if none of those habits make your heart beat faster, Russell will use his charming sense of humor to woo you into his lair of ill repute. He embraces his flamboyant, bohemian lifestyle and often refers to himself as the “S&M Willy Wonka”. Russell has numerous symbolic pieces of ink including a matching tattoo with fiancee Katy Perry. Their tattoos are written in Sanskrit and translate to “Go With The Flow”. >> pictures

#35 - Jared Leto (Musician, Actor, December 26th, 1971)

Jared LetoSinging for his band 30 Seconds to Mars or lending acting skills to challenging roles in Fight Club and Requiem for a Dream, Jared Leto looks marvelous in any role he takes on. We are absolutely over the moon for Jared's crystal clear eyes, his tousled hair (in various stage of perpetual bed head) and his aristocratic-boho-rocker look. He's also not afraid to wear a little bit of ‘Man-liner’ on occasion, so we respect him for that. Jared is always a staple for everyone's ‘best of’ lists and was chosen for People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People" twice! Jared is a little rock ‘n roll, a little bit theatrical and has the Echelon "X" symbol tattooed on his left arm, and a glyph symbol on his right wrist which are part of his band's iconography. Jared’s most recent tattoo is of Roman arrows on his calf. >> pictures

#34 - Justin Theroux (Actor, August 10th, 1971)

Justin TherouxJustin Theroux is an American actor, best known for his offbeat roles in American Psycho, Zoolander and a handful of David Lynch films including Mulholland Drive. Justin has a major soft spot for his punk-rock roots. His closet is full of the punk-rock inspired fashion worn when he was a teen; leather jackets, rock shirts, ripped jeans, converse sneakers. Is Justin having a nostalgia crisis? Nope, check out the photos and you’ll see that Justin’s forever young, street savvy look is all kinds of charming. Justin’s body is marked with several tattoos including a target on his left wrist, a pair of scissors on his right wrist and a fly on his arm. >> pictures

#33 - Tim McGraw (Musician, May 1st, 1967)

Tim McGrawHillbilly hunk Tim McGraw is an American country singer and actor who deserves a shiny gold sheriff’s star for his milestone successes in the entertainment industry. McGraw has had a whopping eleven consecutive albums debut at number one. He’s also had the honour of receiving not one, not two, but THREE Grammy Awards. Tim’s songs get us two-stepping and wishing this cowboy would sweep us off our feet. We’d love to meet eyes under the brim of his trademark cowboy hat but alas, Tim is married happily ever after to fellow country songstress Faith Hill. Tim has his wife’s name “Faith” tattooed on his right arm. He also has two celtic styled crosses on the inside and outside of his left arm that pay tribute to his Irish heritage. >> pictures

#32 -Sonny Bill Williams (Rugby Player, August 3rd, 1985)

Sonny Bill WilliamsTime out! We’d like to take this opportunity to talk to about Sonny Bill Williams, a Second-row rugby football player from Auckland New Zealand. There’s nothing “Scrummy” about Sonny Bill, he may play Second-row but Williams is a first class athlete and champion of good looks. Williams has worn jerseys for the Canterbury Bulldogs and the French Rugby team, Toulon. Rugby is Sonny’s first love, but he also recently made his debut in professional boxing, defeating New Zealander Gary Gurr in Brisbane. Sonny has a full sleeve of traditional Maori styled tattoo work, characterized by tribal symbols, repeating patterns and delicate line work. His last name Williams is tattooed in cursive uppercase letters across his shoulder blades. >> pictures

#31 - Taylor Kitsch (Actor, April 8th, 1981)

Taylor KitschSupersexy-superhero Taylor Kitsch is an actor from Kelowna, British Columbia who is best known for playing Gambit in the film X-Men Origins: Wolverine. You may also remember Kitsch from the NBC series, Friday Night Lights. Taylor is a homegrown Canadian boy and was recently nominated for the Teen Choice Male Hottie Award. We’re pretty sure he’d prefer an Oscar, but the Hottie Award will have to do for the time being. Although we don’t have visual proof that Talyor has a tattoo, we’ve received whisperings about a tattoo he received after filming X-Men: Origins. Taylor told an interviewer that he receive a tattoo in Swahili that means to live life with no regrets. >> pictures
